Homemade Baby Food

When my son was a baby, he refused to eat jar baby food. He would actually gag! So I had to make 'gourmet' baby food. It was actually a great money and time saver. I would cook dinner and would remove his portion before I seasoned the rest. I would then puree the food in the blender. (You can add baby cereal or baby rice or even mashed potatoes to thicken it., 0) I would then fill an ice tray 3/4 full with the pureed food and place it in the freezer overnight. You then pop out what you need for a meal. It thaws in no time. And he liked it!

Oven Cleaning

Once I've sprayed my oven with cleaning spray, I place Scott Towels flat under the oven door, and they catch any leaks and messes while I clean the oven.

Save Energy

There are lots of ways to reduce your energy usage: Check for drafts and fix or reseal windows. Use heavy curtains, preferably insulated, and leave the thermostat on 68 all the time. Close off rooms and vents you do not use. Turn the water heater down. It all adds up!
